I wrote late last month that one of the events I’ll be attending this year is BlogathonATX on Saturday, April 28, 2012. This is the fourth edition of this great event which I encourage all bloggers in and around the Austin area to attend.
BlogathonATX is a one-day gathering of bloggers who come together to learn, share ideas, get geeky and eat great food (that’s always a selling point for me). It’s a great event whether you’re looking for some education or just to socialize and have a good time with fellow bloggers.
I live-blogged the last Blogathon, so you can get an idea about what kind of things go on there. This time around I’m going to be in the Tech Room working with some other smart folks letting my inner nerd show. I’ll also be walking around offering to help with techie stuff. If you’re a reader of The Crossing, please be sure to stop me and say “hi.”
Lastly, I”ll be doing a talk about premium WordPress themes sometime during the day.
Consider this your invitation to join in the fun! Registration is open and the cost is only $50. It will be held at Tech Ranch on Jollyville Road from 9am to 6pm with an after party at Cover 3 on West Anderson Lane from 6pm to 9pm.
