PubCon Vegas 2012 kicks off Monday, October 15th and wraps up on Thursday, October 18th. As in recent years, it will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. From what I read on their web site, this should prove to be the biggest one ever. Many of the Online Marketing/SEO/Social Media/Customer Service luminaries whose articles I link to in my Saturday Summaries will be presenting. I always learn a great deal at PubCon, and I’m confident you will, too (well … if you go, that is).
You may be thinking to yourself, “That’s three months away.” True, but that time will go by quickly. You need to register, make hotel reservations, get plane tickets (or plan your road trip) – there’s lots to do to get ready.
This time around, I’ll be presenting as part of two panels and moderating a third:
- Mobile Search & Marketing (moderating)
- Tuesday, October 16th
- 10:15a – 11:25a
- Salon F
- In-House Team Building and Training
- Tuesday, October 16th
- 3:10p – 4:25p
- Salon D
- Engaging Your Community and Audience Through Contests
- Thursday, October 17th
- 10:10a – 11:45a
- Salon D
My company, Rockfish, will also be represented by Melyssa St. Michael who will be presenting in three sessions:
- Reputation Management: Monitoring Your Brand Online
- Tuesday, October 16th
- 11:30a – 12:45p
- Salon C
- Developing Audience Personas for SEO
- Tuesday, October 16th
- 1:50p – 3:05p
- Salon H
- Outreach and Relationship Building
- Wednesday, October 17th
- 11:20a – 12:45p
- Salon H
I’m looking forward to being there. Last year I met quite a few readers of “The Crossing” and would certainly enjoying meeting some more. If you happen to see me in and around the conference, please stop by and say ‘hi.” Breakfast or Lunch and in the halls between sessions are great times to stop and chat.
Lastly, Dana Lookadoo (another PubCon Speaker) has a great post on the Yo-Yo SEO web site about PubCon I recommend you check out: Tips for Speaking, Moderating & Attending #PubCon 2012
